The Democrats’ Party-Over-Country Moment
For years, the Democrats wanted to get Richard Nixon, because they hated him. They just kept looking for a way to take him down, and he helped them do it.
Republicans hated Bill Clinton, and went looking into his financial dealings. They ended up going after him for…lying about his sex life.
Those cases are models of objective prosecution compared to what may happen to this country tomorrow.
Millions of dollars and actual YEARS have gone into looking over every aspect of Trump’s life. When the first investigation started, I wasn’t alone in thinking, “He’s a businessman, of course they’ll find something to use as an excuse to get him.” What came out of all that labor and money only embarrassed Trump and his family members. None of it mattered to the nation.
Soros-funded Alvin Bragg looked at the same evidence the feds looked at and decided to go for the Democrat’s brass ring.
As with the bullshit Ukraine impeachment and the bullshit January 6 impeachment, the object is not a successful prosecution of a criminal but the continued smearing of someone hated because of his personal style. The folks who worship Bill Clinton are shocked, shocked at Trump’s private behavior. Fans of Hillary Clinton are just outraged that Trump might have classified material in his possession. Biden voters who have no problem with the piles of evidence of his using his government positions to enrich himself hate Trump for making millions in non-government work.
Not for one second does anyone believe this indictment is anything but the climax of a quarter of the country’s years-long temper tantrum over mean Tweets and gross behavior.
Democrats, you have no idea what you’ve done to the country.
Neither have I or anyone else.
But the party of the Summer of Love, which caused billions in damage and dozens of lies, has reduced Trump’s term to a few hours of unarmed idiots wandering around the Capitol. They see themselves as wronged children who couldn’t care less about money paid to a porn star…
…they just wanna Get Him.
